Our newest release in collaboration with Boys Grow, this Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta is bright and fresh with bold notes of garlic and shallot in perfect unison with the sweetness of Heirloom tomatoes. This is the perfect topping for a crostini or flatbread paired with some fresh mozzarella, or stir some in with your eggs for a fun spin on your breakfast.
Part of the proceeds of the sale of our Bruschetta goes back to the farm program, helping to train and educate a young generation of Kansas City youths in sustainable farming methods. Excite your tastebuds while giving back to a great cause!
Developed from a mutual love of canning and preserving, we created Kansas City Canning Co. to forge a modern approach to the craft of food preservation. Specializing in pickles, preserves and cocktail goods- we're looking to elevate and stretch the conceptualization of "canned" products- utilizing as much locally sourced produce and product as possible.
Embracing unique flavor profiles in our recipe formulation, we're challenging normal constructs and thinking progressively about palates, uses and balance. We celebrate local, sustainable ways to preserve seasons, moments and memories in food, using artisanal and traditional canning techniques stretching far back into our family trees. Each jar is hand-packed, hand-labeled and hand-batched in methods which require tender care and time- we hope you can taste our commitment to the craft in each of our products.
Creating and sustaining relationships, dialog and community through food is the absolute core of what we do. Our relationships with our growing partners have developed out of a mutual value of collaboration, curated through integrity of product, growing practices and local commerce.
