Nuts that have the power to repair the world
How it Began
Our spiced nut blends were inspired by the legacy of Tasya’s grandfather Isadore, who was a trailblazer in approaching food as an avenue for health. Back in the 1950s, in a time when the country was embracing processed foods, Isadore searched for ingredients that were real, organic and healthy. He treated food as medicine, and passed down his attitude to the generations who followed him. Little did he know, his approach would be reborn as a wholesome snack that is good for you and the planet.
How it Grew
Tasya’s vision of a healthier snack was inspired by her regular visit to the farmers market after yoga teacher training, back in 2012. Unable to find a clean, gluten free option, she took it upon herself to make her first batch of seasoned and spiced nuts at home. Shortly after her first sale, a series of kismet events unfolded that solidified what she already knew: Healing the world through food made with integrity is where she’s meant to be. Tasya treats food as medicine, sources through sustainable supply chains and supports employment equity so she can leave this world better than how she found it.
