We began DSM Pasta Co. after deciding conventional pasta just wasn't cutting it anymore. We are in the heart of Iowa, with access to fresh and local ingredients we need to use them! We believe our pasta highlights our passion for market-fresh ingredients, honest cooking, and a bit of fun. Our menu features a selection of artisanal pastas, all made in-house by us.
So who are we? We are a couple that's been in the hospitality business for our entire lives. In fact we met, got engaged, and had our rehearsal dinner at a local Italian spot! You could say marinara is in our blood..
With over 40 years of restaurant experience between the two of us, we knew we had to take that hand crank pasta machine out of the pantry and put it to good use. After many tasting sessions (it was tough but someone had to do it!) DSM Pasta Co. was born.
We are currently working out of the Mickel Center Shared Use Kitchen and could not be more excited to have found such a great community to start us off right!
