Join us for our final event at the farm for the 2023 season, and let's go out with a bang.
We are proud to host a memorable culinary experience with a musical at the farm! We are excited to feature the culinary works of Chef Katie Porter and the musical geniuses of local musical greats, The River City Opry. Members of The River City Opry include:
- Steph Graham (band Leader) Upright Bass - Vox
- Seth Hedquist - Lead Guitar - Vox
- Dustin Smith - Guitar/Drums - Vox
- Bryan Vanderpool Guitar/Drums - Vox
- Eric Quiner - Keys - Vox
- Kathyrn Fox - Fiddle - Vox
Dinner and music will take place in our heated greenhouse. The night will kick off with an opening set from The River City Opry. All guests will then enjoy a meal (with the band) featuring locally grown/produced foods. After dinner, the band will end the night with another musical set.
It will be an evening to remember!
Guests can arrive anytime after 5 p.m. Light apps will be served and music will start around 6:00. Dinner will be served after the first set of music starting around 6:30. Towards the end of dinner the band will play again with an hour set.
Nonalcoholic drinks will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own boozy drinks to enjoy throughout the night.

We are an urban farm located in Des Moines, Iowa known for our organically grown salad greens as well as other seasonal crops. We have evolved into a destination in Des Moines to support local growers, makers, and producers.
